Andrew "One Gear" van Zyl and Ruan "Fangz" Potts are set to meet in the cage in their trilogy match up at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg.

This title fight will be the third time these two massive units will meet in the hexagon. Both defeating each other on separate occasions before.

Van Zyl and Potts first faced each other at EFC AFRICA 11 where Potts won by guillotine in the first round.

They fought again at EFC AFRICA 18. Van Zyl dominated over five rounds to take the title from Potts.

"Andrew and Ruan have proven themselves to be in a league of their own,” said EFC Africa President Cairo Howarth.

“They’ve destroyed all opposition in the heavyweight ranks, and being heavyweights, they’re literally the baddest men on the continent. They’ve each recorded one win over the other, each has given the other his only loss. Andrew’s gone through the pain of losing and overcome it, fighting his way back for a chance at a rematch with Ruan. Ruan has now done the same, tasting his first loss and destroying two men to re-earn a shot at Andrew and the belt. In terms of combat sports, this is the pinnacle," added Howarth.

Bet Xchange has the bets at dead even ahead of this massive clash.

Local KZN fighters - Johan van Staden, Jason Culverwell, Abdul Hassan, Baldwin Mdlalose, Nelson Feteira and Peter Nyide can also be seen in the mix tomorrow night.

Prelim bouts are set to start at 16h15.

The main card bouts are due to get underway at 20h00.
