City draw champions Bayern

The draw for the Uefa Champions League group stage has been made.

Manchester United will face Real Sociedad, Bayer Leverkusen and Shakhtar Donetsk in Group A.

Manchester City are in Group D and will be up against Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow and Viktoria Plzen.

Chelsea have Group E dates with Schalke, FC Basel and Steaua Bucharest.

Arsenal have drawn Olympique Marseille, Borussia Dortmund and Napoli in Group F.

Group H features Barcelona, AC Milan, Glasgow Celtic and Ajax Amsterdam.

Real Madrid are in Group B.

They will be up against Juventus, Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen.

Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea City are both through to the Europa League group stage.

Jermain Defoe scored twice for Spurs in their 3-0 second leg victory over Dinamo Tbilisi last night.

Spurs advance 8-0 on aggregate.
