Chiefs back on track while its more misery for Maritzburg

Kaizer Chiefs easily beat log leaders Bidvest Wits 2-0 in an enthralling Absa Premiership game at Bidvest Stadium on Wednesday evening while Maritzburg United remained at the foot of the table with yet another defeat.
George Maluleka captained Amakhosi in the absence of Itumeleng Khune and Willard Katsande, who were both out injured.
The Glamour Boys took the lead through striker Leonardo Castro before midfielder Hendrik Ekstein ensured all three points with a late beautifully worked team goal.
For Maritzburg United it was another opportunity lost.
Against Free State Stars, Team Of Choice took the lead late in the first half but failed to hang on to the lead with Ea LIa Koto coming from behind to win the match 2-1 at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
Victory saw the men from Bethlehem end a run of 7 matches without a win while Maritzburg remain with only one with in the league this season
