Chad le Clos, Cameron van der Burgh and Roland Schoeman have all impressed on the opening night of the SA National Aquatic Championships in Port Elizabeth.
Le Clos, Van der Burgh and Schoeman all clocked times that secured them qualification for the FINA World Championships.
Schoeman and Le Clos both posted their qualification times in the 50-metres butterfly semi-finals on Monday.
Schoeman beat Le Clos in a very tight semi-final heat at the Newton Park Swimming Pool.
Van der Burgh dominated the 100-metres breaststroke semi-finals.
He was more than three seconds faster than the rest of the competitors.
