Bothma will play for the Toyota Verblitz in Japan's Top League.

Bothma is set to join the club after the World Cup, where he will represent Namibia, before returning to Durban to play in the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby tournament.

He will join a host of South Africans in Japan, including Handré Pollard, Willie le Roux, Eben Etzebeth, Schalk Burger, Marcell Coetzee, Heinrich Brüssow, Johann Sadie, Pierre Spies, JJ Engelbrecht and Andries Ferreira.

A player who is not going anywhere is Jesse Kriel.

The former Maritzburg College pupil has signed a 3-year contract extention with the Vodacom Blue Bulls which will keep him in Pretoria until 2018.

Kriel has also been named in the Bulls 2015 Absa Currie Cup squad which also features the likes of Franscois Hougaard , Pierre Spies , Rudy Paige , Jan Serfontein and veteran lock forward Victor Matfield.
