The Springboks will host Scotland in two back to back Test matches before facing Georgia in a one off Test to round off their first Test matches since they were crowned Rugby World Cup champions in Japan earlier this month.

The Test match against Georgia will be a first between the two nations on South African soil. The Springboks have only faced Georgia once in history, where they recorded a 46-19 win over the Georgian at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia.

Scotland last faced the Springboks five years ago in 2014 in a match which South Africa won 55-6.

Scotland bowed out of the Rugby World Cup at the pool stages after losing to Japan in what was a must-win, final pool stage fixture. Georgia also failed to progress past the group stages of the global showpiece but managed to claim a big win over Uruguay during their campaign.

The venues for the Castle Lager Incoming Series will be confirmed at a later date.
