Bismarck du Plessis will start at hooker ahead of Adriaan Strauss for the Springboks' Castle Rugby Championship clash with the Wallabies.
Zane Kircher is also back in the mix and takes over at full-back with Willie Le Roux shifting to wing.
Butch James will start at flyhalf when the Sharks take on Western Province at Newlands on Saturday. Justin Downey will play off the bench, Sizo Maseko is in for the injured Odwa Ndungane, while Heimar Williams makes way for Tim Whitehead. The match is scheduled to start at 19h10.
