Ballon d'Or shortlist revealed

Jamie Vardy is the only Englishman on the list and he is also joined by his Leceister City teammate Riyad Mahrez.

Zlatan Ibrohimovic, Dimitri Payet, Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez , Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo are also on the list.

Ronaldo is the favorite after winning both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Euro 2016.

On the other hand, his rival, Messi has won the La Liga with Barcelona and his Argentina lost to Chile in the Copa America final.
