Bafana’s World Cup qualifiers decided

Bafana Bafana were drawn in group D of the CAF qualifiers that will decided which African teams head to the FIFA World Cup in Russia in 2018.
South Africa are in a fairly favourable group alongside Senegal, Cape Verde and Burkina Faso.
The stakes will be high though as only the five group winners will book a spot at the global showpiece.
Bafana will play qualifiers in October and November this year, with the rest played out in August, October and November 2017.
Groups:
Group A: Tunisia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea, Libya
Group B: Algeria, Nigeria, Cameroon, Zambia
Group C: Ivory Coast, Mali, Morocco, Gabon
Group D: Senegal, Cape Verde, South Africa, Burkina Faso
Group E: Ghana, Egypt, Congo Brazzaville, Uganda
Match days:
1: October 3-11, 2016
2: November 7-15, 2016
3/4: August 28-September 5, 2017
5: October 2-10, 2017
6: November 6-14, 2017
