South Africa are currently second in Group D after the first round of qualifiers - but they need to finish top of the group to secure the spot in the 2018 World Cup.

Bafana were held to a one-all draw in Burkina Faso last month, which didn't harm their qualifying prospects. It has however put some pressure on them to get a positive result this weekend as they look to keep up with Senegal, who are the only team in the group to have secured a win in the first round.

Injuries to Dean Furman and Tebogo Langerman didn't do Bafana Bafana any favours this week - but the inclusion of Belgian based striker Lars Veldwijk will bring something different to the National side's attack.

News from the Bafana camp is that Maritzburg United defender Deolin Mekoa has been called up to replace Langerman in the squad. He probably won't feature in tomorrow's clash but will be available for Bafana's friendly with Mozambique next week.

Kickoff tomorrow is at 15h00 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
