Aussies secure record victory
Australia have cracked a new Cricket World Cup record score in posting a record win.
The Aussies blasted 417 for six in their alotted 50 overs against Afghanistan today.
David Warner top scored with 178, while Steven Smith made 95 and Glen Maxwell 88 in Perth.
Australia beat Afghanistan by 275 runs at the Waca.
It is the biggest victory margin ever at the World Cup and the second biggest in one-day international history.
Pakistan also won at the World Cup today.
They defeated the UAE by 129 runs in Napier.
Ahmed Shezhad made 93 for the winners at McLean Park.
