Arthur sacked and India champs
Mickey Arthur is no longer head coach of Australia.
Arthur has been fired ahead of the Ashes series in England. Australia won ten of their 19 Tests under Arthur. Darren Lehmann is the favourite to succeed Arthur.
Meanwhile, India have lifted the ICC Champions Trophy.
This after beating England by five runs in Birmingham on Sunday. Rain at Edgbaston reduced the final to 20 overs each.
Chasing 130 for victory, England were restricted to 124 for 8.
Ravi Ashwin bowled nicely for India. Ashwin took 2 for 15 in 4 overs.
Ravi Bopara had earlier bowled well for England. Bopara claimed 3 for 20 in his 4 overs.
Virat Kohli top scored for the champions with 43.
