Anderson to play Murray next
Updated | By Andre Bloem
South African tennis star, Kevin Anderson, will face Olympic champion, Andy Murray, in the Cincinnati Masters third round. Anderson advanced by beating Frenchman, Richard Gasquet, 6-2 6-4 last night.
Others to reach the third round include Bernard Tomic, Kei Nishikori, Gael Monfils and Milos Raonic.
Anderson said after his win over Gasquet that he had expected a difficult contest.
"I knew it was a tough match going in there. I felt that I got off to a really good start. Conditions were such that one had to stay patient and I felt I did a great job of that in the first set. I did not make a great start to the second set, but I thought I did a great job of just sticking in there. Towards the end I actually played some really good tennis."
