Kevin Anderson will face world number 64, Mischa Zverev, in the French Open third round.
Sixth seed, Anderson, defeated Pablo Cuevas 6-3 3-6 7-6 6-4 at Roland Garros yesterday.
Also through to the third round are Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Simona Halep, Marin Cilic, Serena Williams and Juan Martin Del Potro.
Novak Djokovic will play his third round match today (Friday).
Djokovic has a date with Roberto Bautista Agut.
Alexander Zverev is also on the French Open menu today.
The second seed will be up against Damir Dzumhur in his third round encounter.
Ladies second seed, Caroline Wozniacki, is another player scheduled to feature in the third round today.
Wozniacki will meet Pauline Parmentier in Paris.
