Zwane backs Ace Magashule for ANC Secretary General
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane believes Free State Premier Ace Magashule would make an excellent ANC Secretary General.

The Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) and the ANC Youth League have named Magashule as their preferred candidate to succeed Gwede Mantashe.
The ANC is currently holding its policy conference in the south of Johannesburg and is set to elect new leadership in December.
Police Minister Fikile Mbalula took to twitter soon after the ANCYL named Magashule on their slate, saying he would destroy the ANC.
Zwane says he strongly disagrees with Mbalula.
"Ace Magashule is a very good leader and many of us who come from the Free State were mentored - in one way or another - by him. I have a lot of respect for him and if the people of South Africa wants him as SG it would be a lovely moment in the ANC," he says.
Both Magashule and Zwane are facing questions over dealings with the controversial Gupta family.
