Zuma praises eThekwini municipality's service delivery
ANC President Jacob Zuma has placed the spotlight on eThekwini saying its a good example of an ANC led municipality that delivers.
Zuma addressed thousands of supporters at the party's final rally at Ellis Park in Johannesburg yesterday.
South Africans head to the polls on Wednesday for the 2016 Local Government Elections.
Zuma says eThekwini has provided electricity to 89.9% of homes in the Metro that were previously without power.
He also praised the municipality for its record of managing finances.
"eThekwini also has the highest collection rate which averages 103%. The good work will be taken forward in the next five years," he said.
