Zuma in Parliament over claim Guptas influence Cabinet
Updated | By Troye Lund
The bombshell dropped by Deputy Finance Minister, Mcebisi Jonas is expected to dominate the President’s question time in the National Assembly this afternoon.
Yesterday, Jonas released a statement in which he admitted that he had been offered the position of Finance Minister by the Gupta family.
While Jonas' statement does not specifically link the offer he was made to President Zuma, other senior ANC people have described similar incidents that implicate the president and his son Duduzane who is in business with the Guptas.

While the Guptas continue to deny these allegations, the jury is out as to how Zuma will respond and what the ANC leadership's next move will be following this political game changer that places the credibility of the entire party and government at risk.
