Zuma medical parole unlawful – SCA

The Supreme Court of Appeal says the decision to grant Jacob Zuma medical parole last year, was unlawful.

It handed down judgement in the former president's case on Monday morning.
Zuma appealed a high court ruling which set aside the decision by former prisons' boss Arthur Fraser to grant him medical parole.

The former head of state was found guilty of contempt of court for failing to abide by a court order that compelled him to appear before the state capture commission.
