Zuma expected at Terminal Operators' Conference in Durban

President Jacob Zuma will be in Durban today for the Terminal Operators' Conference Africa.

Experts and investors involved in operations at the country's ports, terminals, liner shipping, logistics and equipment manufacturers are meeting at the ICC.
They will discuss ways to improve trade flow across Africa.
Bongani Tembe with the Department of Economic Development and Tourism says Durban's the first city on the continent to host the event
"The port of Durban and the Richards Bay port has also undergone a massive expansion. Recently, we spent R74-billion building our state of the art King Shaka airport," he says.

The conference will showcase investment opportunities and capabilities on offer within the province in order to try increase projected cargo.
