The corruption case against former President Jacob Zuma and Thales came before the court yesterday where it was adjourned until next May for papers to be filed in relation to the stay of prosecution applications both accused have brought forward.

The State had previously indicated that it intended on adding a charge against Thales but the court heard yesterday it was no longer pursuing this.

At the last appearance the State was directed to provide clarity on the additional charge it had indicated it intended on bringing against Thales.

However when Deputy Judge President Isaac Madondo asked advocate Anton Katz who is representing Thales, Katz said he and his team had been in communication with the State and that this was now off the table.

State advocate Billy Downer also confirmed to the court that the indictment would remain unchanged.
