Zondo: SA sees value of state capture inquiry
Updated | By Newswatch
Deputy Chief Justice, Raymond Zondo says he believes the majority of South Africans see the value of the State Capture Commission of Inquiry.

He was briefing the media in Parktown on the work of the commission and application to extend it.
"We certainly think it's very important work that has to be done. If it's not there, then those who may have done certain thing may as well just come back and continue because then they will know that in this country, you can do whatever and they'll be no consequences."
He says those who believe the commission is a waste of time are entitled to their opinion.
"Some of the people may be taking that view, for whatever reason, maybe because they don't like what is coming out of the Commission. Maybe they didn't want the commission to be there in the first place, because it suits their own agendas that they should not be this commission," says Zondo.
