Zondo expected to give recusal ruling tomorrow
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Chairperson of the State Capture Commission of Inquiry, Justice Raymond Zondo says he's still considering the application for his recusal.
"I'm still working on it, I have got some documentation I need to go through carefully, I'm going to use today to work on the judgement."
The application, made by the former president, Jacob Zuma was heard yesterday.
Zuma says Justice Zondo is biased against him and also has also cited a long-standing personal history as a reason for the recusal request.
Yesterday, Zondo in a statement said he didn't share a personal relationship with Zuma and added that since 2012 - he sat on several matters in the Constitutional Court involving the former president.

Zuma's lawyer, Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane says they've had a look at Zondo's statement. " We consulted briefly with our client and the instruction are to put on record a statement that deals with your statement, and may or may not put in dispute some of the things you have stated.
"So I thought it's convenient the ruling will happen tomorrow which we hope will you be given you the version of the relationship of yours."
Sikhakhane also says Zuma won't be able to attend tomorrow's proceedings as he'll be attending a funeral.
