Young artists celebrate 'black beauty' in photo series

In incredible photos celebrating the beauty of black women, make-up artist Moshoodat Sanni and photographer, Joey Rosado have teamed up to create a photographic series 'Mooshoodat'. See the artwork below. 

It features a number of black women - including a cancer survivor, Ericka Hart, incorporating make-up and bold colours of paint. 


South African model, Tshepiso Ralehlathe is also featured in the series.

The series that has caught the attention of a global audience has been featured in notable publications such as Glamour Magazine UK and Essence Magazine. 


According to Essence Magazine, 24-year-old Mooshoodat 'wanted women of color to see the light and the magic [they] carry!"
