Yet another killing at DBN's notorious hostel
Police say they're shocked by yet another killing at KwaMashu Hostel.
"This morning at around 11 O'clock members of the police received information that there was a shooting that took place at the Kwamashu Men's Hostel, " he says.
Zwane says on their arrival police found that one person was dead. A second person was wounded and taken to hospital for treatment.
Zwane says it's unclear what the motive for the attack is and no arrests have been made.
This brings to six the number of people killed at the northern Durban hostel.
It also comes a day after ministers from the security cluster visited the area yesterday - which has been plagued by increasing levels of violence.
On Monday night a man was shot dead while another was hurt.
Four other men were shot execution style in their home on Sunday.
