Worry grows after deaths of two KZN ANC members

The ANC in KZN says the party's leadership and society need to work together to isolate those behind political killings.

This after two ANC memberstwo ANC members were shot and killed in separate incidents in the province yesterday. 


Bongani Skhosana was gunned in front of his children near Harding in southern KZN yesterday morning. 


Meanwhile, in a separate incident yesterday, Khanyisile Sibisi was shot and killed while making her way to a Mandela Day event in Ladysmith. 


The ANC's Ndumiseni Ntuli says the task team has a lot of work to do.


"The pattern of the killing does suggest there is something that links some of the incidents closely with the fact that we're going to the local government elections. As we go to local government elections, the conversation both internally (within the party) and generally within society affected by the fact that elections are on their own a [contested] area,| he said," he said. 


The Hawks are calling for people with information to come forward.
