Worries grow for missing Esikhawini boy, 4
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
It has been nine days since a four-year-old boy with albinism was abducted near his Esikhawini home and there is still no sign of him.
Maneliswa Ntombela who is also known as Mlungu was snatched by an unknown man while on his way to church with his four-year-old cousin.
The boy’s aunt Qaphi Ntombela says the two children left the house before her.
She was meant to follow them but before she could, her daughter came running into the house saying a man had taken Mlungu.
Ntombela says it emerged that the abductor called the missing child by his name before picking him up and disappearing.
Mlungu's distraught mom sat with her head buried in her hands as her sister recalled Mlungu's abduction.
The family says Mlungu although only four years old is sharp and knows his address and other basic information.
They've pleaded for his safe return as they suspect he might be killed for muthi.
