Worker killed in Tongaat scaffold collapse
Tragedy struck on Wednesday at a construction site in Tongaat, north of Durban.
Newswatch was told earlier that a scaffolding platform had collapsed, injuring three workers, one of them critically.
Paramedics have now confirmed that one person, who was transported to hospital, has died.

"Sadly, one of the men who were transported to a nearby facility has passed away," says IPSS Medical Rescue's Samantha Meyrick.
"The man who was airlifted to a facility in Durban remains critical but stable."
