Worker critical after Durban blast

A man's been rushed to hospital following an industrial explosion at Durban's Riverhorse Valley.

It's understood a bitumen tank exploded on Thursday morning, leaving a worker with serious burns.
Medi Response medics treated him on the scene before rushing him to a medical facility.
"On arrival of crews it was established that a bitumen tank had exploded, resulting in a worker sustaining extensive burns," says spokesperson Paul Herbst.
"Paramedics worked to stabilise the critical man before he was transported through to hospital for further care."
