Woman's body linked to human head found in Mandeni
Police in northern KZN have found the headless body of a woman whose head was found in Mandeni earlier in the week.
A resident made the gruesome discovery of the head while out walking on Monday night.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says the body was recovered from a sugarcane field in Mandeni yesterday.
"We can confirm that our search and rescue team went back to the place where a human head was found on Monday night. When they started to search, they came across a body with no head. It was a decomposed body - believed to be that of a woman" he said.
Zwane says the woman has not yet been identified.
