Woman’s body found in car in Newlands East
A woman has been found dead in a car at a sports ground in Newlands East, north of Durban.
ALS paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says they were called out to the John Dory sports ground earlier.
He says police had already cordoned off the area.

"Paramedics assessed a female on the driver’s side of the vehicle, believed to be approximately 35 years of age and found that she had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her body. Unfortunately, there was nothing more Paramedics could do for her, and she was declared deceased at the scene."
“At this stage, the events leading up to the shooting are unknown. However, SAPS are investigating further."
