Woman wanted for kidnapping a baby at salon in Montclair
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
KwaZulu-Natal police are pleading with mothers not to trust strangers with their babies.
This comes after a two-week-old baby went missing at a salon on South Coast Road in Montclair last week.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says it's believed the 31-year-old mother befriended a woman at the salon - who offered to make a bottle for the baby at her flat.

The woman didn't return with the infant.
Gwala says a case of kidnapping has been opened.
"We are appealing to mothers or community members to make sure that when they have a small baby in their position to make sure that they do not allow a stranger to take their baby. They must make sure that they are cautious," she says.
Police have released a facial composite of a woman they believe can assist them in the kidnapping case.
Anyone with any information requested to contact Detective Sergeant Samantha Fynn on 082 418 1264 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
