Woman found murdered at Durban creche
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
Durban police are investigating a case of murder after a woman was found dead at a creche in the city centre yesterday morning.
The 49-year-old woman had been stabbed to death the previous night.
Thulani Zwane - who speaks for the SAPS in KZN - says police were only informed several hours after the incident.
"I can confirm that a case of murder has been opened at Durban central SAPS after the body of a woman was found with stab wounds in the CBD area", he said.
"The police were then alerted. It is not known at this point what exactly happened. No one has been arrested and the matter is under investigation", Zwane said.
