Woman dies of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in Durban

A Durban man is being treated in hospital for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning that's believed to have also been behind the death of a woman.
KwaZulu-Natal police say the pair was found unconscious at the man's home in Inanda on Wednesday.
Spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says a friend who discovered them called emergency services.

He says the woman was declared dead at the scene.
"The man was rushed to hospital for treatment. A generator which ran throughout the night is suspected to be the cause of the woman's death due to carbon monoxide inhalation."
