Winnie Madikizela-Mandela admitted to hospital
Struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela has been admitted to hospital for observation.
Her spokesperson Victor Dlamini says Madikizela-Mandela was admitted when she went to Milpark Hospital for a routine check-up yesterday.
"She went to the hospital for one of her regular check-ups and just as a precaution the doctors decided to admit her for further observations," says Dlamini.
Dlamini says Madikizela-Mandela is in good spirits.
"The family is happy that there is nothing to be worried about and once the observation and tests are completed we will announce exactly when she will leave the hospital," says Dlamini.
