"Rescuers made their way down to the vehicle and found that a male believed to be in his 30's had sustained moderate injuries.
He was stabilised on scene by life support paramedics before he was transported through to a nearby hospital."
Jamieson says there was then a second crash there.
"The vehicle lost control and collided into a police vehicle. The paramedics are currently stabilising the policeman who has sustained serious injuries."
