Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
A Westville woman has been hospitalised after being stabbed - apparently with sword - during a violent home robbery, yesterday morning.

Newswatch understand that two men - one armed with a firearm and the other, a sword - stormed the woman's home in the early hours.
Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says local detectives are investigating but that no arrests have been made yet.
"In the early hours - around 3.45am - a 64-year-old woman was in her house, in the Westville area, when she was attacked by unknown suspects. The suspects allegedly assaulted the woman and they also took household appliances before they fled the scene," he says, "The Westville police have opened a case of house robbery and up to now, there are no arrests made. We are also appealing to anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of these suspects, to come forward".
