Westville home invasion leaves woman dead, son-in-law critical

A woman's been shot dead, while her son-in-law's fighting for his life in hospital after a home invasion in Westville.
Asad Patel who is with the Westville Community Policing Forum (CPF) says the incident on Duncan Road happened just before 9.30pm last night.
Rookaya Dhooma was killed. Her son-in-law Imran Randeree, of Randeree's Jewellers, was critically hurt.
A police manhunt is underway for the killers.

Westville and its surrounding areas have been hit by a wave of violent crimes in the last 18 months.In 2016, Gary Mackay was killed trying to protect his wife and children from intruders in their home, also in Duncan Road.
