Westville boy, 6, killed in 'hit-and-run'

A Westville family is devastated and angry, after their six-year-old son was killed in an apparent a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday night.
The family says the boy was rushed to hospital after the accident where he succumbed to his injuries.

It's alleged he'd been standing on the pavement waiting to cross Harry Gwala Road when he was knocked over.
The family spokesperson Marlise Olivier says the boy's mother is distressed.

Olivier says they have provided all the necessary information to the police.
SAPS have confirmed that a culpable homicide case is being investigated by Cator Manor police after the accident.
