Wentworth residents oppose Transnet Port Development
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka

Hundreds of locals this morning stood on the corner of Bayhead and Lengerberg Roads which mark the entry point to the Durban Port holding placards in protest.
The proposed development plan will see more trucks in the area and fishermen says they'll be unable to access the port.
Wentworth resident Colleen Gordon spoke to Newswatch.
"Our future generation are all being killed by these trucks, the school children. We suggest they think of another road, behind the racecourse to run their trucks or get out completely and use Isipingo rather, somewhere far, on the other side of the port but not Wentworth. We won't have it there," she said.
