Wentworth pupil stabbed to death near school

A Durban schoolboy is appearing in court today on allegations that he killed another teenager yesterday afternoon.
It is believed the 16-year-old learner and another boy had been fighting outside Umbilo Secondary School, near Wentworth south of the city, when the suspect pulled out a knife.
Police say the victim was stabbed in the upper body and died on the way to hospital.
The murder weapon was confiscated at the scene. A case of murder has been opened.
