Wentworth community wants principal out
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Some residents of Wentworth south of Durban say they are not giving up their fight to have the newly-appointed principal of Austerville Primary School removed.

They are demanding that the school's deputy principal who has held the position for the past 17 years be promoted instead.
A community meeting was held this past weekend to discuss the issue and this morning parents continued with their pickets outside the school.
Area councillor Aubrey Snyman says there are ongoing discussions.
"These are allegations that the processes were flawed from the interview committee right to the actual interview process. The department had actually met with various members of the Department of Education.
"This morning I had a discussion with Mr Hlatshwayo regarding the matter but he has informed me that he will be trying to get a meeting with the school governing body," he said.
The KZN Department of Education is encouraging concerned residents to present it with evidence of the claims proper selection processes were not followed.
