Weekend thunderstorm warning for parts of KZN

The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms over KwaZulu-Natal for Saturday.
It says widespread thunderstorms can be expected in the province.
Forcaster Wisani Maluleke says these storms may lead to flooding, damaging winds and hail.
"Severe thunderstorms with possible damaging winds, heavy downpours leading to localised flooding of low-lying bridge, settlements, roads as well as damage to infrastructure are expected over western, the midlands and northern parts of KZN today," says Maluleke.
Pietermaritzburg, Greytown area all the way to Newcastle side and including parts in the extreme north will be affected.
