WC Premier Alan Winde diagnosed with COVID-19

Western Cape Premier, Alan Winde has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
He shared the news via a video message on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
"I experienced some flu-like symptoms over the weekend. I isolated myself, went for a test on Monday. I have just received the results - it being positive.

"I will now be isolating myself for the further 14 days, as is required.
"I am a type 2 Diabetic, which means that I must also be extra vigilant and that's the message that we send to everybody. When you have comorbidity please you must be extra vigilant during this time," says Winde.
