Water treatment project to boost supply to KZN Midlands
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Umgeni Water is hopeful a nearly completed project to improve supply to the Mooi River area in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands will help put an end to service delivery protests there.

Chief executive, Thami Hlongwa has been speaking at a water summit at the Durban ICC.
He says Mooi River's water needs had not been prioritised.
He says some residents have been taking water directly from the river - which posed health and safety risks.
