Water cuts expected as iLembe repairs piping system

Maintenance teams at the iLembe District Municipality are busy upgrading old and faulty water pipes.
The municipality's Elias Bhengu says residents can expect disruptions to their supply until Thursday.
"It's a break from the old infrastructure that we have. It's broken and it needs replacing. As soon as the pipe is ready, we're going to connect the new pipes that convey water from our balancing reservoir to Saunders Street," he said.
Homes and businesses in areas including KwaDukuza's CBD, Stanger Manor, Townview, Shakashill, Highview, Glenhills and Kearsney will be affected.
