Public Works and Infrastructure Minister, Patricia de Lille - is among those who've taken a seat in the Pietermaritzburg High Court this morning.
She's expected to be called by the prosecution team, as its first witness in former president, Jacob Zuma's corruption trial.
Zuma and French arms company, Thales are also facing fraud and money laundering charges linked to the multi-billion-rand arms deal.
Two decades ago, De Lille called on Parliament to launch an inquiry into allegations of corruption surrounding the deal.
