WATCH: Zandile Gumede sworn in as KZN Legislature member

Former eThekwini Mayor, Zandile Gumede has been sworn in as a Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature.
Gumede is taking over the seat left vacant by Ricardo Mthembu - who died of COVID-19 several weeks ago.

She's currently facing fraud and corruption charges related to a multi-million rand Durban Solid Waste tender.
The ANC in KZN recalled Gumede as mayor last year, following her arrest by the Hawks.
She and her co-accused are currently out on R50 000 bail.
