WATCH: Woman wards off armed robbers in Pinetown

Local police have confirmed a case of robbery is being investigated, following a brazen armed robbery outside a Pinetown home at the weekend.
A resident and family members were accosted by three suspects on the driveway of their home in Padfield Park.
Security footage, that is forming part of the investigation, shows men armed with rifles approach a vehicle reversing out the gate.
A woman, carrying a baby, is then seen closing the gate manually before one of the suspects starts firing a gun.
Speaking to Newswatch, her father Sven Skanke, says her first instincts was to try and protect the people on their property.
"This was happening in micro-seconds - there was no time to put the child down. There was a BMW that raced off - it could have hit someone or the dogs. She couldn't put the child down and didn't want to just run off into the house and just abandon everybody. So, her instincts were to stay and fight."

He says there were other children on the premises.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says six shots were fired, while two cell phones were taken. No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
