WATCH: Woman hijacked outside store on the Bluff
Updated | By Sandile Bhengu
A case of carjacking is being investigated after a woman was targetted on the Bluff, south of Durban, on Monday morning.
Footage on social media shows several armed men approaching the 42-year-old woman, who had just parked outside Oxford Fresh Market.
The suspects held her at gunpoint and then drove off.
Marketing Manager of Oxford Fresh Market Patrick Hyland says it was erroneously claimed the store had been robbed.

"This isn't the case. There was, however, a very unfortunate hijacking incident, the latest in a spate of similar occurrences in the Bluff area.
"We would like to assure everyone that the victim and all those around are thankfully safe and unharmed. Our store does remain open and we are assisting law enforcement wherever possible with the incident."
Hyland says they are working closely with their security team to prevent similar incidents from happening.
