WATCH: Police on alert after Durban attempted hijacking

Shared by a Facebook group, News, Accidents, Robberies and Incidents, CCTV footage shows a woman who had parked her vehicle in a driveway being approached by two suspects while trying to open the gate to her home.  

The assailants - carrying a crowbar - had climbed out of a white vehicle tried to force the motorist out of her car.

The motorist overpowers the suspects and starts swinging the crowbar at them. 

As reported by IOL News, the incident took place in Berea, Durban.

The incident is thought to have taken place late last week. KZN Police say a case of attempted hijacking is yet to be reported but they are keeping a close watch in the area.
